How do I seek God?

Droplets in a branch - Notes of An Imperfect Christian. Photo owned by Joan Veniga. Used with permission.

Seek God in practical ways, seek Him in small ways and in mundane things.

Find Him in small weeds that grow from a small crack in the wall,
seek God through the eyes of a dragonfly, or in the flashing light of a firefly.

Find God’s fingerprints in the leaves after the monsoon rain, trace His hands in the movement of the clouds.

Feel His embrace when your Mom hugs you tight, or hear Him laugh when you play around with your siblings.

Listen to Him whisper, as your beloved tells you how much he loves you.
Or learn new things from Him, when you chat with ur mentors and friends.

Because God is everywhere. and He often reveals his GREAT GLORY through the small and mundane things in life.

1And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and break in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:

12And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

13And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? (1 Kings 19:11-13)
